About Us:

The goal of the Lancaster Pride Youth Outreach is to reach out to LGBTQ/Ally youth in our communityby keeping them informed about Lancaster Pride as well as giving them opportunities to involve themselves in Pride and Pride related projects. Additionally, the Lancaster Pride Youth Outreach provides beneficial resources and aid for LGBTQ/Ally youth in the area. Also, the Lancaster Pride Youth Outreach will host youth friendly events to increase youth participation in Pride, as well as making Pride enjoyable for the whole family. Lastly, to encourage LGBTQ/Ally youth to work together, the Lancaster Pride Youth Outreach will bring youth together to work on community service projects, creating a sense of LGBTQ/Ally youth unity through volunteering efforts.

Highway Cleanup

Rt. 23/Walnut St., Lancaster

The Lancaster Pride Youth Outreach is sponsoring a cleanup of the section of Rt. 23 that has been adopted by the Gays and Lesbians of Lancaster for over a decade. Come on out and help make our community more beautiful!

Come join Lancaster Pride Youth Outreach as we read Nino’s Mask by Jeanette geared for the younger kids! For a review, see http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/127059.Nino_s_Mask#other_reviews. Bring a pillow, bring the family, and enjoy a night out!

Winding Way Books will also donate 25% of the sale of books made throughout the day to Lancaster Pride Youth Outreach so even if you don’t make it to Story Hour, drop in and buy a book. And be sure to tell them it is in support of Lancaster Pride!
