The love between Erica and Mayra has blossomed into a relationship of living and creating art together for 13 years. They celebrated with a commitment ceremony in 2005. They share a home and studio in Lancaster where they create unique wood and metal jewelry. Both are active volunteers for various LGBT causes and politics.
Melody, Ren, and sons. Melody and Ren have been together eight years. They share a home with their 3 sons and 1 daughter in Lancaster. Both are active in their support of Common Roads, the safe space for LGBTA youth program in Lancaster and Harrisburg.
Lancaster is a welcoming community that celebrates its diversity. Gail and Mayor Rick Gray have been strong advocates for the rights of all Lancastrians. Rick was a lawyer before his election in 2005. Gail is an accomplished artist whose work can be viewed at local galleries, in her studio, and at the new Marriott Hotel and Convention Center.
