Please help support PRIDE
Sunday, March 4th, 2012Saturday, June 16, Lancaster PRIDE celebrates its 5th year in Buchanan Park. . . thank you to the group of hardworking individuals who started PRIDE!
Lancaster PRIDE is an important way to celebrate who we are. And while we’ve seen some discouraging changes in our community such as the elimination of the Human Relations Commission for Lancaster County . . . we also continue to make progress with the continuation of the Lancaster City Human Relations Commission and the addition of partner benefits for Lancaster City employees. Who we are as individuals helps build Lancaster County into a strong, open, creative and vibrant place to live, work and play. Through events, such as Lancaster PRIDE, we build our community and make our community voices heard.
But, Lancaster PRIDE is not possible without YOU! It costs between $15,000 and $20,000 to make the day of PRIDE happen. And so, we need your support . . . whether you volunteer on a committee, attend a fundraising event, help the day of PRIDE or make a contribution – no matter how big or how small . . . your support celebrates the diversity of our lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersexed, questioning, and allied community in Lancaster County through building community and pride in who we are.
Please consider joining us and supporting Lancaster PRIDE.
Sincerely,
Melody Keim, Board Chair
On behalf of the 2012 Lancaster PRIDE Board
